What AutoFigureEdit Is

AutoFigureEdit (autofigureedit.com) operates as an independent commercial platform built upon AutoFigureEdit-Edit, a publicly available open-source research initiative hosted on GitHub under the MIT License. Our platform delivers cloud-hosted rendering, enhanced capabilities, and dedicated technical assistance, enabling researchers to leverage the technology without configuring a local environment. AutoFigureEdit has no official affiliation with or endorsement from the AutoFigureEdit-Edit research group.

Permitted Use of the Platform

AutoFigureEdit offers a figure creation service that produces editable SVG scientific illustrations from academic text through LLM generation, SAM3 segmentation, and vectorization pipelines. You commit to using the platform in compliance with all relevant local, state, national, and international statutes and regulations.

Account Registration and Management

1. Setting Up an Account: Accessing certain platform capabilities requires account creation. You are obligated to provide truthful and complete details during sign-up.

2. Keeping Your Account Secure: Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials falls under your responsibility, as does accountability for every action taken through your account.

3. Reporting Issues: You agree to promptly inform us of any unauthorized activity on your account or any other security incident.

Intellectual Property and Content Ownership

• Content You Create: Full ownership of everything you submit to AutoFigureEdit (methodology text, reference visuals) and all resulting illustrations remains with you. You may freely incorporate generated figures into publications, slides, and other academic materials.

• Platform Technology: You recognize that the core technology and intellectual property powering the AutoFigureEdit platform belong to autofigureedit.com, and you agree to honor the intellectual property rights of autofigureedit.com as well as any third parties involved.

• Open Source Licensing: AutoFigureEdit leverages AutoFigureEdit-Edit (MIT License). All open-source elements remain governed by their original license terms.

Activities That Are Not Allowed

While using AutoFigureEdit, you agree to avoid the following:

• Gaining unauthorized access to or redistributing our proprietary systems
